The 2024 Prom was fantastic. The Rosenberg Sky Room at the University of the Incarnate Word was a great pick; the music, the city’s skyline, and our friends made this an unforgettable night. The theme for this year’s prom was Masquerade.

The decorations, which went perfectly along with the Masquerade theme, made the ambiance ten times better. Shout out to the Prom team and the junior class officers for their amazing job making sure that there were beautiful aesthetics all around.

Then the time came for the announcements of senior court, junior court, and the people running for prom king and queen. The dance floor was cleared, and only glitter and shreds of feathers from masks were left on the floor. The prom king and queen of 2024 were announced: Bella Alford and Errett Moore. Everyone was cheering and clapping with excitement; genuine appreciation for their classmates. 

“We were both very happy to have won and be crowned Prom King and Queen, when we heard our names called it was so exciting,” Prom Queen Bella Alford said.

“It was great being crowned, and even though it was our last prom this made it 10 times better,” Prom King Errett Moore said.

“The funny thing about all of this is that neither of us planned on running,” Prom Queen Bella Alford said. “Even though it was our last prom, neither of us will forget that moment.”
